lovelyybones:

I think everyone I know should become a part of SEAC (Student Environmental Action Coalition). Groups are sprouting up in high schools, colleges and cities all over the place. Being involved with SEAC and our “sister” (I use the term sister very loosely, as last time I checked we weren’t officially offiliated with SEAC, though we do have members of SEAC that have joined forces with us) organization, Leveling Appalachia, has done so much for my awareness and knowledge on impending issues such as Global Climate Change, Mountain Top Removal, and Rain Forest depletion. I love all the people I’ve come in contact with via SEAC and LA. OHVEC (Ohio Valley Environmental Coalition) also hangs out with SEAC and LA. So, really guys, get involved. There’s no reason for you not to be. If your town/city/school doesn’t have a valid environmentalist group, contact me and I’ll put you in contact with someone from SEAC that will provide you with tools and ideas for starting your own group.
